This is a simple dish with chili bean paste and pork mince. It can be served in 20 minutes – it is salty, sweet and spicy.
Recipe is as follows:
- 150g green beans, washed and trim off the ends
- 50g pork mince
- 1 tsp chili soy bean paste (picture below)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- cooking oil
Bring some hot water to boil in a pot, add beans and cooked for 1 minute; pour the green beans into a colander above a sink, run the green beans briefly under tap water to cool.
Bring cooking oil to hot in a frying pan, add pork mince and separate the mince with a spatula so there is no large lumps; add sugar, chili soy bean paste, sesame oil, stir fry until the pork is cooked; add beans, toss; to serve.
