Grilled beef with leek, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil and apricot jam.
Ingredients
- 500g thinly sliced beef (I use rump or flank, trimmed)
- 50g leek or 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- a few slices of ginger, julienned
- 3 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 tbsp. apricot jam
- salt and pepper, to taste
- sesame seeds, toasted, to garnish
- sliced green shallot, to garnish
- sliced chili, seeds removed, to garnish
Method
- Marinate the meat with all ingredients (except for the capsicum)
- Grill on a hot plate until cooked
- Garnish with green shallot, sesame seeds and sliced chili
