Grilled chicken fillets with cumin, turmeric, garam masala, mustard oil, sesame oil, ginger and garlic paste.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken thigh fillet, sliced to bite size
  • 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp mustard oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds, toasted, to garnish

Method

  • Mix the chicken with all ingredients; preferably leaving in the fridge to marinate overnight
  • Grill the chicken on a gridle until cooked
  • Garnish with sesame seeds
