Sautéed mushrooms with bacon, onion, garlic and sesame oil

Ingredients

  • 400g button mushrooms, stalk removed and reserve
  • 100g bacon, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 small capsicum, diced (I used half yellow capsicum, half red capsicum for colors)
  • 1 small carrot, peeled and diced
  • black pepper
  • a dash of sesame oil
  • cooking oil (I use olive oil)
  • green shallot, sliced, to garnish (optional)

Method

  • Dice the mushroom stalks
  • In a frying pan, heat up some cooking oil; add bacon, onion, mushroom stalks, carrot, garlic and black pepper, stir fry briefly; Add mushrooms, capsicum, sesame oil, pan fried until the mushrooms are just cooked
  • Garnish with sliced green shallot (optional).
