Ingredients
- 1/2 iceberg lettuce, broken up loosely (with hands is best)
- a dash of oyster sauce (approx. 1 to 1.5 tbsp, depending on your preference)
- a dash of olive oil or sesame oil (approx 1 to 1.5 tbsp, depending on your preference)
- a dash of cooking oil – for blanching
Methods
- Bring a pot of water to boil, add a dash of cooking oil and the lettuce
- Bring the water to boil again
- Remove the lettuce from the water using a strainer, shake off the excess water
- Place the lettuce in a dish, drizzle over the oyster sauce and olive/sesame oil
- Serve warm or at room temperature
