Sweet-sour-salty chicken with ginger, balsamic vinegar and Chinese wine.
Ingredients
- 300g chicken thigh fillet, sliced
- A few thin slices of ginger
- 2 tsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp Chinese rice wine
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp of corn flour, mixed with 1 tbsp of water
- cooking oil
- chopped coriander, to garish (optional)
Method
- Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, sesame oil, Chinese wine and sugar
- Heat up a frying pan with some cooking oil, add the sliced ginger, sauté briefly until aromatic
- Add the marinated chicken, stir fry until cooked; add the corn flour mixture, stir briefly until thicken
- Garnish with coriander if desired
