Chicken and green bean stir fry with Sichuan chili bean paste – salty, sweet and spicy.
Ingredients
- 150g green beans, washed and trim off the ends, cut to 1 inch length
- 50g chicken, diced
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 1/4 red capsicum, diced
- 1 tsp chili soy bean paste (available in Asian stores)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- cooking oil
- Sesame seeds, to garnish (optional)
Method
- Bring cooking oil to hot in a frying pan, add onion and soy bean paste, sauté briefly
- Add chicken, sugar, sesame oil; sauté until the chicken is nearly cooked
- Add green bean sauté briefly or until the bean is cooked; add capsicum, toss briefly
- Garnish with sesame seeds (optional)
