My neighbor popped over today and brought me a few lemons from their trees. So I made this simple, gentle and aromatic tea – perfect to enjoy on a rainy autumn afternoon.
Ingredients
(Serve 2 as a FODMAP recipe)
- 2 sticks of cinnamon / cinnamon bark
- 1/4 lemon, sliced
- 10g ginger, sliced
- 2 tsp raw sugar
- 1.5 cup of water
Method
- In a saucepan, bring cinnamon, ginger and water to boil, simmer for 5 minutes; add sugar and lemon, stir to dissolve the sugar; remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Serve warm or lightly chilled.
